Small units are injected into the skin to relax targeted facial muscles. As the muscles relax, expressional lines become less noticeable.
You can start at 18 years or older. Most start in their 20 – 30s for prevention.
Results usually lasts 3 – 4 months. This depends on the amount of units injected as well as the patient. If a patient is hyper-metabolic, (i.e., in the gym often) it may last for a shorter period of time.
Some may see results in 24-48 hours. It may take up to 2 weeks for it to completely settle in.
Downtime is very minimal. Pre + Post care is to be followed as instructed by the injector.
Some patients may experience bruising or redness after treatment, but these side effects usually subside within a few hours. More serious complications are very rare.
